Refer a Client Program Guidelines
Participants Must Fully Facilitate the Deal
To earn the $100.00 per month referral commission for each new client enrolled in Kay Marketing Company’s retainer marketing services, participants in the affiliate referral program are required to facilitate the entire signing process, from initial introduction to the final contract signature.
Participants Must Be 18 Years Old
Participants in the Kay Marketing Company affiliate referral program must be at least 18 years old.
Participants Must Provide Their W-9
To receive the $100.00 per month commission for each new client referred to Kay Marketing Company’s retainer marketing services, affiliates must submit a completed and accurate IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) to Kay Marketing Company. Affiliates must ensure their Form W-9 is accurate and comply with IRS regulations for reporting income made from our program. Kay Marketing Company is not responsible for affiliates’ tax obligations beyond issuing Form 1099-NEC and applying backup withholding if required.
Participants May Be Issued 1099-NEC
We will issue an IRS Form 1099-NEC (Nonemployee Compensation) to affiliates for commissions paid when annual payments meet or exceed the reporting threshold of $600 or more in a calendar year, per current IRS rules as of 2025. The Form 1099-NEC reports affiliate commissions to the IRS, ensuring proper tax reporting for non-employee compensation. Affiliates are responsible for reporting commission income on their tax returns and complying with all applicable tax laws in their jurisdiction.
Participants May Not Engage in Fraudulent, Unethical, or Illegal Soliciting Practices
Participants are not allowed to refer to themselves or engage in fraudulent activities to earn bonuses. Kay Marketing Company fully reserves the right to disqualify participants and withhold bonuses for suspected fraud. During lead acquisition and deal facilitation, our affiliates must represent Kay Marketing Company accurately and professionally, avoiding misrepresentation of services or terms, and comply with all applicable laws regarding marketing, referrals, solicitation, and contract facilitation. We are not responsible for any penalties resulting from illegally soliciting our services, participants are required to know and abide by local laws and ordinances when marketing our services. Participants may also be removed from our program for violating local laws or engaging in fraudulent or unethical solicitation practices.
$100.00 Payment is Contingent on Client’s Balance
The $100.00 per month commission per referred client is contingent on the client’s full payment of retainer marketing services. If a referred client does not make their monthly payment on time and in full, the $100.00 will be suspended until the client pays their owed balance. Once the balance is paid in full, payment will be made to the referee in due course.
